Extensive work on vocal technique, grounded in healthy breath support and physical exercises. Singers learn music from all music eras and styles, spanning Medieval chant to contemporary pop. Choristers also work regularly with our resident choreographer for each of our main performances. Musicianship/music theory lessons start every rehearsal, and choristers are looked to as leaders in combined rehearsal with the Felice ensemble. They are significantly featured in winter and spring full-chorus concerts, outreach performances, special concerts and tour.

Cantando & Boychoir choristers also enjoy separate rehearsal (about 1/4) and performance time in ensembles of girls (Ms. Gerber) and boys (Mr. Hampton) to explore and develop their unique vocal and physical attributes, and developmental and social needs and interests.
